My Story
I was an athlete growing up and I thought I would always be in great shape. After graduating college I lost my structure and the stress and pressures of life began to weigh on me. I began eating more and training less. This lead to a significant weight gain of 50lbs, and put me at my heaviest. I thought this was my new normal, but then I realized I had the power to change my habits, my behavior and my life! I’ve always had a passion for fitness and for helping others, so I decided to combine those passions and pursue an education in Exercise Science and Sports Psychology. I began learning the mechanics behind fitness and how my habits and behaviors were affecting my body and mind. I began eating heathier, structuring my training sessions and tracking my progress. These changes lead to me losing that 50lbs (plus a few extra) and has allowed me to maintain that weight loss since!
Now I’m ready to help others achieve their fitness goals. I designed Fitness by Jake with EVERYONE in mind, that’s why my moto is “Any Body, Anywhere, NO Excuses.” Whether it’s to lose weight, gain muscle, or improve in areas of weakness, I’m ready to help you find your passion for fitness!
